Oral presentation guidlines
We would like to receive the slides of your oral presentations by September 11. We have prepared a Dropbox folder to collect the presentations and it can be found HERE. This way, the technician has time to check your slides before the congress.
Presentations should be in PowerPoint only. The required aspect ratio for presentation slides is 16:9. If you cannot upload your presentation by the deadline, please bring your slides to the venue on a USB drive. Please hand the file to the technician or volunteer at least 2 breaks before your presentation’s session starts. Please upload your presentation in the room where your presentation takes place. During the breaks you can also check your slides in the presentation room.
On the 2nd slide of your presentation, the disclosure of conflicts of interest (e.g. grant support, consultancy, membership on advisory councils, speaker’s bureau) and source of funding is mandatory.
If you present in the Hurda hall:
In the Hurda hall, you will have a choice between a podium microphone or a headset. Please inform the technician which option you prefer. The technician will start your slides and you will have a clicker to change slides yourself. There will be a presenter’s monitor together with a time monitor as well.
If you present in the Moora hall:
In the Moora hall, there is no microphone. A volunteer will be in the room at all times and will help you upload slides as well. There is a technician on call so in the off-chance that anything doesn’t work, help will arrive quickly. You will have a clicker and you can see your slides from the laptop on the presenter’s table (high bar table).
Please check your presentation time in the programme HERE and let us know as soon as possible if any changes need to be made. Please note that the time allocated to your presentation in the programme includes a Q&A.
